The office of Brodie McAllister is a studio of urban designers
and chartered landscape architects that is passionate about
re-defining the use of places. It delivers solutions that are
artistically driven, engaging, symbolic, landscape process led and
practical. Its track record includes competition winning
designs, successfully steered urban design, heritage schemes,
land art and a body of completed work which has
attracted wide publicity and awards. It can offer advice and
design proposals for funding applications, and specialises in
ideas and opportunity studies, regeneration strategies, urban
design, institutional campus
design, public parks, squares and streetscape, business parks,
housing, company headquarters, seafront and resort schemes.
It has particular expertise in sustainable design technology,
roof gardens and water features.
The practice emerged in London in 1993. Brodie McAllister previously practised
in Singapore between 1987 and 1989 for Brian Clouston and Partners
and in California between 1989 and 1993. He has been a Landscape Institute member of council and awards juror,
and the Chair of the built design group considering
urban design issues for Thames Gateway major development sites,
such as Ebbsfleet International Rail Terminal. He is also a senior lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire. |
